The Prisoner,

How did I not know about this?  The Prisoner is being remade on AMC and will debut on November 15.

As I said when the original Number Six, Patrick McGoohan, died, The Prisoner was one of my favorite television shows of all time.  Although in retrospect its production values look dreadful, the program for me was "must see TV" long before anyone at NBC ever used the phrase.

The role McGoohan played -- Number Six -- is being played in the new AMC production by Jim Caviezel (that's him below on the left)  My Beautiful and Talented Wife (The BTW), the professional actor, tells me he's a brilliant actor who's best known for The Passion of the Christ.  Let's see how he measures up to McGoohan (on the right), who not only originated Six, he created the show.
